The team of WSE (Whole School Evaluation) which comprises of senior faculty members, Academic Heads from each department visits different areas.

WSE evaluates the following key areas:

  • Quality of learning and teaching in a range of subjects and levels.
  • The implementation of recommendations from previous evaluations.
  • The School's self-evaluation process and capacity for school improvement.
  • Quality of School management and leadership.

Following a WSE, team collaborates in writing an evaluation report on the work of the school. This report informs parents, teachers, boards of management and students. It also makes recommendations on how the quality of education provided could be improved more.

What happens during a WSE?
    During the evaluation, team will;

  • Visit class rooms and observe teachers and students at work.
  • Meet students, including monitors, prefects to hear the views and opinions of student.
  • Review samples of the students' work.
  • Talk to teachers and discuss their teaching with them.
  • Meet the principal, in-charges and other teachers to discuss the work and management of the school.
  • Review key school documentation.
